Tonight’s SmackDown was recorded last week. We’ll see Shinsuke Nakamura defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn.

And Fallon Henley & Kayla Inlay team up to face Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile and the debuting Tatum Paxley. Paxley was signed after WWE’s tryouts in Las Vegas during the SummerSlam weekend.
On Thursday’s NXT UK…Jordan Devlin beat Wolfgang…
Sam Gradwell pinned Kenny Williams. But after the match…Williams attacked Gradwell and cut off Gradwell’s mohawk!
Also on the show, Emilia McKenzie beat Angel Hayze…and Stevie Turner defeated Myla Grace.
WWE has parted ways with longtime Spanish language announcer Carlos Cabrera. He’d been with the company for nearly 30 years.
WWE Hall of Famer and backstage producer D-Von Dudley says he will never wrestle again after he recently underwent spinal surgery.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Jay White makes his AEW in-ring debut on tonight’s Rampage. He’ll go one-on-one against Trent Beretta.
Also on tonight’s show…Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Dante Martin in a Face of the Revolution Ladder Match qualifier.
Plus, Adam Cole vs. Dark Order’s 10…and Serena Deeb hosts another five-minute challenge.

Last night’s Impact was the last stop before Saturday’s No Surrender special.
Ace Austin will join Jake Something, Chris Bey, and SPEEDBALL Mike Bailey in the X-Division #1 contender match at No Surrender. Austin won a 3-way last night over Blake Christian and Laredo Kid. Austin pinned Christian with The Fold.
Deonna Purrazzo announced she will host another open challenge at No Surrender. Purrazzo currently holds the ROH Women’s Title and AAA’s women’s championship.
Before their team’s clash at No Surrender…Team Impact’s Chris Sabin used a rollup to pin Honor No More’s Kenny King.
Knockouts #1 contender Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans beat Knockouts Champion Mickie James & Chelsea Green. Steelz used a crucifix pin on James to get the win.
Bullet Club’s Jay White, Tama Tonga, & Tanga Loa beat Violent By Design’s Eric Young, Joe Doering, & Deaner, who took the pin.
Also last night, Gisele Shaw beat Lady Frost…and Masha Slamovich beat Kiah Dream.
A video package at the top of the show recapped Josh Alexander’s storyline suspension last week, despite news earlier this week that Alexander is now a free agent.
5150 is still the MLW Tag Team Champs. They beat Los Parks in a ladder match on last night’s Fusion.
Also on the show, Davey Richards beat ACH…and All Japan’s Saito Brothers beat Gnarls Garvin & Budd Heavy.
Lio Rush is returning to MLW. He’ll be back for April's Kings of Colosseum show in Philadelphia.
The “Control Your Narrative” promotion founded by EC3 and Adam Scherr appears to be finding some solid ground on which to build. The co-founders announced Thursday that the announcement of a network TV deal for the promotion is “imminent”.
The CYN promotion has shows coming up on March 5th in Orlando, Florida…and March 31st in Dallas. The Dallas show will be the taping for the new TV show.
Minoru Suzuki will work GCW shows in April - including Spring Break 6 and Bloodsport.

New Japan has a pair of big shows coming up this weekend.
THREE title matches are on Saturday’s card.
The main event is Hiroshi Tanahashi defending the IWGP United States Championship against SANADA.
Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI defend the IWGP Tag Titles against EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi.
PLUS, a 4-way for the junior tag titles. Tiger Mask & Robbie Eagles will be challenged by Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo…Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi…and El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
In Mexico, AAA announced Thursday it has cut ties with The Crash.
