About this Episode
Clarion River Organics is a cooperative of 15 horse powered family farms working together near Clarion, PA. All farms are certified organic and strive to maintain healthy soils as their main means of pest and disease control. Starting in June, they start delivering shares of their Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, to people all over Western PA. In this interview Zeb Bartles, General Manager, talks about the Amish farms that make up the co-operative, the variety of produce that comes from these farms, and how a CSA is good for both farmer and consumer.
