It’s no longer a matter of IF but WHEN Cody Rhodes will make his on-screen return to WWE.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reports his sources have confirmed that Rhodes signed with WWE a couple of weeks ago…and the current plan is for him to debut during WrestleMania weekend.

No matches are announced as of Monday morning…but AJ Styles is set to return on tonight’s RAW.

WWE says Bianca Belair is out of action with a throat injury after she was attacked by Becky Lynch last Monday.

The WrestleMania match between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville will now be an “Anything Goes” match.

Natalya & Shayna Baszler are now added to the WWE Women’s Tag Title match at WrestleMania.

WWE’s Gable Steveson won his second straight NCAA wrestling championship over the weekend. He removed his shoes after his win, signaling his retirement from the sport.

AEW’s Christopher Daniels appeared in a prerecorded video during DDT Pro’s show over the weekend and announced an agreement that will bring DDT talent to the U.S.

Also on that show…Tetsuya Endo won the KO-D Openweight Title from Konosuke Takeshita.

The New Japan Cup quarterfinals are wrapping up Monday…with Will Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr…and Shingo Takagi vs. Hiromu Takahashi. The winners meet in the tournament semifinals on Saturday.

The other half of the “final four” was decided on Sunday. Tetsuya Naito defeated Jeff Cobb. He’ll face IWGP World Champ Kazuchika Okada, who beat CIMA.

Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley will meet at New Japan’s Windy City Riot show in Chicago on April 16th. That show will be available live on pay-per-view exclusively through FITE TV.

On Saturday night’s New Japan Strong…Buddy Matthews beat Ren Narita…and Chris Bey beat Blake Christian.

Back in Japan, the Best of the Super Juniors Tournament is now set to begin on May 15th.

Homicide is the new NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion. He won the vacant title at the Crockett Cup over the weekend.

Also, Jax Dane beat Anthony Mayweather to win the NWA National Title.

The Briscoes won the Crockett Cup tournament itself.

Matt Cardona retained the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title with a DQ victory over Nick Aldis.

Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham won the PROGRESS Championship from Cara Noir over the weekend.
