(STINGER: WWE)
WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E is set to return to SmackDown tonight...for the first time since he was taken out of the ThunderDome on a stretcher following an attack by Apollo Crews. Crews demanded another shot at the IC Title on last Friday’s SmackDown.
Also announced for tonight, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan meet for a contract signing for their Universal Title match at Fastlane.
Kyle O’Reilly tweeted Thursday that he aggravated his neck during his attack on Adam Cole at the end of NXT...and was told it’ll add another 2-to-3 weeks to his recovery time.
NXT UK Results…
Piper Niven and Jack Starz won the first-ever mixed tag team match on NXT UK...beating Jinny and Joseph Conners after Niven hit the Piper Driver on Conners.
Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan beat Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster. Williams snuck in a low blow, leading to the win. Jordan was not pleased with the tactics used by his tag team partner.
Tyler Bate beat Dave Mastiff in a Heritage Cup Rules Match.
Teoman (TEE-o-man) - formerly known as Lucky Kid - made his NXT UK debut with a win over Danny Jones.
Recent NXT UK signee Ben Carter announced he’ll start using a new ring name - Nathan Frazer.
UK Champion Walter is scheduled to “Make A Statement” on next week’s NXT UK.
We’ll find out if Trent Seven has shed enough pounds to challenge for Jordan Devlin’s Cruiserweight Championship...during an official weigh-in on next Wednesday’s episode of The Bump.

A new match announced for Ring Of Honor’s 19th Anniversary pay per view. HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams will challenge Dragon Lee for the ROH TV Title. The Anniversary show is coming up on Friday, March 26th.
On ROH TV this weekend...Flip Gordon vs. Flamita...Kenny King vs. Tony Deppen...and a Pure Rules Match between Dak Draper and Fred Yehi.

The card for the first episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. The main event will be Riho vs. Maki Itoh. Also, Jungle Boy vs. Danny Limelight...Top Flight’s Dante Martin vs. Max Caster from The Acclaimed...Tay Conti vs. Ashley Vox...and Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Brandon Cutler.
AEW Dark: Elevation debuts on AEW’s YouTube channel Monday night at 7PM.
AEW’s Anna Jay tweeted that she underwent shoulder surgery on Thursday. She’s expected to be out for at least six months. Also Thursday, Brooke Havok tweeted she underwent major knee surgery - to repair a torn ACL and get her meniscus “patched up”.

New Japan Cup tour is taking a day off. It resumes Saturday with a pair of big Second Round matches between: Hirooki Goto vs. Shingo Takagi...and KENTA vs. Minoru Suzuki
The Second Round got underway on Thursday.
EVIL used a distraction from Yujiro Takahashi to get a win over Jeff Cobb in the main event.
Earlier, Toru Yano tried just about every trick in his playbook against Great-O-Khan, including tying Great-O-Khan’s ponytail to a ringside barrier. Great-O-Khan produced a pair of scissors to free himself...then, tried unsuccessfully to STAB Yano with them. Yano eventually found an opening for him to hit a low blow and rolled up Great-O-Khan for the pin.
On tonight’s New Japan Strong, we’re getting two more qualifying matches for the U.S. version of the New Japan Cup tournament - Fred Rosser vs. JR Kratos...and Hikuleo vs. Jordan Clearwater.
MLW announced a World Heavyweight Championship match for its Never Say Never special on March 31st - Jacob Fatu defending against Calvin Tankman.
On Wednesday night’s Fusion - Alex Hammerstone beat L.A. Park to retain the National Openweight Championship. After the match, Mil Muertes attacked Hammerstone...and then, Muertes and Salina De La Renta stole Hammerstone’s title belt.
