A major title match set for today’s NXT UK - WALTER will be defending his United Kingdom Championship against A-Kid. Also, Tyler Bate will be in action against Sam Gradwell.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is underway. THREE first-round matches on last night’s NXT.

Earlier in the day, WWE announced we’d see the debut of a new team - called MSK. It turned out to be the team formerly known as The Rascalz - Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz now known as Wes Lee & Nash Carter. They advanced with a win over Isaiah "Swerve" Scott & Jake Atlas.

The Grizzled Young Veterans beat Ever-Rise...and Adam Cole & Roderick Strong got past Breezango. But they needed a little backup to do it. During the match, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch attacked Kyle O’Reilly at ringside. That drew out NXT Champion Finn Balor returning the favor to the Undisputed Era, who saved him from Dunne, Lorcan and Burch earlier in the show.

The first-ever WOMEN’S Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will not wait until the men’s edition is complete. That tournament will begin on NEXT week’s NXT - with Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs. Toni Storm & Mercedes Martinez.

Two other teams also announced last night - Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell..and Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. But the full tournament bracket is still being kept under wraps.

Two first round matches in the men’s Dusty Classic also announced for next week - Kushida & Leon Ruff vs. Johnny Gargano & Austin Theory....and Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner vs. Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado.

We’ll also finally get Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher in the FIGHT PIT on next week’s NXT.

(STINGER: AEW)

Now, let’s dig into last night’s AEW Dynamite.

Darby Allin is still the TNT Champion. He survived an offensive onslaught from Brian Cage, then got a late assist from Sting when Team Taz got involved.

For a few moments, it looked like Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks would team up for a 6-man tag. But Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows snuck in to take the Bucks’ spots. Omega and the Good Brothers beat the Varsity Blondes and Danny Limelight.

After the match, Jon Moxley tried to beat the odds. When he was overwhelmed, Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero M came to the rescue. When Mox got Omega back in his sights, the Young Bucks came out to stop him...but Fenix and Penta surprised the Bucks with a pair of superkicks.

The show opened with Pac beating Eddie Kingston.

Miro soundly defeated Chuck Taylor. That means Chuck must now serve as Miro’s “butler” for the next month or so.

Serena Deeb beat Tay Conti to retain the NWA Women’s Championship.

Some key matches set up for next Wednesday.

Hangman Page says he’ll again team with the Dark Order..and promised to give the group an answer to their offer for him to join them.

Also made for next week, a tag team triple threat involving most of the Inner Circle - Santana & Ortiz vs. Chris Jericho & MJF vs. Jake Hager & Sammy Guevara. Again, that’s next Wednesday.

And a match made for AEW’s Beach Break special on February 3rd - Dr. Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa.

(STINGER: Impact)

Impact Wrestling is giving its announce team an overhaul. The new team of Matt Striker and D’Lo Brown will debut at Saturday’s Hard to Kill pay per view. Josh Matthews is being promoted into an off-camera position.

New tag champs in Major League Wrestling - The Von Erichs were dethroned by Los Parks. It did not come easy. It took interference from Salina de la Renta and persistently nefarious officiating by special guest referee FILTHY Tom Lawlor. Also, on Wednesday’s Fusion - former Lucha Underground champ Mil Muertes made his MLW debut with a dominating win over Brian Pillman Jr.

A title change in Dragon Gate early Wednesday. We have new Open The Triangle Gate champs - Kzy, Susumu Yokosuka & Genki Horiguchi. They dethroned Takashi Yoshida, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & SB KENTo.
