Matt and Steve bring you up to speed on the recent news there - including some thoughts that Gronk may be wearing out his welcome in New England? With NBA playoffs in the near future, the boys take a look at how the playoff picture is shaping up. Then it's on to NHL updates to wrap up this week's podcast. With their final season game, Penguins fans can rejoice that we are in the playoffs.

Matt opens this week's show with some River Hounds updates - including his excitement about their home opener against the Harrisburg City Islanders. Speaking of openers, the MLB season is officially open as of Thursday. We've got Pirates updates, as well as some notable news on the Sox, Giants, Dodgers, Blue Jays, Yankees, Rangers, Astros, and more. Of course, we can't forget about NCAA hoops action. As far as Pitt is concerned, we have a new coach! Matt and Steve share some thoughts. As far as NCAA brackets are concerned, we're down to the finals - which includes a bracket check. In this week's NFL news, the guys take a rundown on draft picks and negotiation updates, as well as some rule changes heading into the 2018-19 season. We're just going to gloss over the Penguins' recent outing. They looked like poo against the Red Wings.

As far as this week's PGA Tour news, we've got some updates and thoughts heading into the Masters. We also take a look at verbal harassment on the course and alcohol sales. Moving right along, Matt and Steve talk some Steelers updates, including signing news, discount options, updates on who's in and who's out, and an NFL free agency tracker. But, we're still a ways off from NFL season. Know which season we're not far away from? That's right - the Pirates are in spring training. While not perfect, things are looking better as we're about a week out from opening day across the league. Matt and Steve take a look at the problems the Pirates will be facing. We'll give you a hint for the top of that list: It starts with a "P" and rhymes with "Itching." Our crack team of sports enthusiasts is wrapping this week's episode with some Penguins updates. Murray is back, and our power play is still top in the league. But, the Flyers are one point behind and the Caps are four ahead - and, what's up with Columbus sneaking in there?!?! Our final thought for this week? Herb Brooks time: PLAY YOUR GAME!

In NHL news, we check-in with Ovechkin's 600 goals mark, making him #20 on the all-time list as Fleury clinches his 400th career win. Even though it seems the season just ended, Pitt Football is heading into their spring camp and NFL free agency has begun! Matt and Steve break down some NFL maneuvering. This week's episode wraps up with a look at the Buccos and a recap of this week's hockey standings.

After the break it's back to our regularly scheduled sports talk with some MLB updates as workouts are underway. Although the NFL season is over, there's still some things worth talking about - especially franchise tags. On to hoops action, Matt and Steve have a rundown of NCAA updates. If you haven't heard the news about a certain team vacating wins between 2012-2015 (including a National Championship during that time), you may want to tune in to get up to speed. Then, it's on to NHL news to take the show home. Matt and Steve are talking about some Penguins updates - on and off the ice.
