Sorg and Katie spend a big chunk of the episode walking through their experience at Epic Universe and Islands of Adventure. They talk strategy for entering the park without early-access privileges, how they navigated long waits, why some online advice helped and some of it only created anxiety, and which lands felt the most immersive. The episode also includes a smart Women’s History Month spotlight on Hedy Lamarr, with Dave explaining how her work on frequency-hopping communication connects to the foundations of Wi-Fi and wireless communication. It’s a great reminder that tech history is full of people whose contributions weren’t fully recognized in their own time.
