We made it through the Royal Rumble this past weekend. But, more importantly, we made it through Week 1 of MayhemMania. We've got Beastman in studio as Sorg, Larry, Mad Mike, and Matt take us through this week in wrestling news, including:

Is Becky Lynch the new Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Nia Jax entered the men's Royal Rumble match, which is sparking some new conversation about intergender wrestling.

There are two types of wrestling fans: Those who are on board with intergender wrestling, and those who are not. And, there isn't really any gray area about it.

There was a lot of under ring play at this year's Royal Rumble. Thank you Titus O'Neil?

Matt is walking us through some of the Royal Rumble changes we've seen lately.

If 96% of your body hits the floor in a Royal Rumble, that should count for more than your two feet. - Matt

Beastman is discussing what tactics he will employ when he is in the Royal Rumble.

Matt is calling for an official BK Broiler rule for Royal Rumble matches. We are currently assembling Dean Malenko, Ric Flair, Drake Maverick, and Drew Gulak to discuss.

We're getting caught up with what Beastman has been up to - including his recent championship win with Fight Society.

Beastman was recently at an event with Sami Callihan, Matt Tremont, and Michael Elgin. He's sharing how much of a change it has made in his career.

While in Philadelphia you do Philly things - like run the Rocky steps.

Beastman unveiled some new gear while in Philadelphia.

We're learning about modernizing the caveman with Beastman.

Beastman is sharing the headband story with us. Bonus!

It's time for MayhemMania - Week 2 with Beastman and the Mayhem Show gang.

Matt and Steve are talking about this week in sports updates, including:
The MLB trade deadline.
Pirates made a splash with bringing in Chris Archer and Keone Kela.
Archer was traded for Glasnow and Meadows and a player to be named later.
Kela was traded for two players to be named later.
Archer is under contract through 2021 costing $27.7 Million total which is right around $8 Million a season.
Kela is under contract through 2020 at $1.2 Million.
Kela will be a closer this season with 38GP, 3 W, 3 L, and 24 S 3.44 ERA
Dodgers: Manny Machado and Brian Dozier
Brewers: Mike Moustakas
Astros: Roberto Osuna (suspended) P 75 game for domestic charges.
The Riverhounds took two losses in a row before a win with the Richmond kickers in town.
Nico Brett had two goals and Fitzpatrick also came in with a goal.
The Hounds are in 3rd with 20 MP, 37 Points, 25 GF, 10GA.
The Hounds have TFCII coming to town.
In PGA Tour news, The Open Championship came and went with Francisco Molinari as the First Italian to win.
Some big names were in it until the end, but Molinari was too good.
DJ won the Canadian Open that finished on Monday due to weather. It was his 3rd win this season and 19th overall.
It's the Firestone CC on the South Course in Akron OH.
NFL Hall of Fame inductees have been named: Bobby Beathard Contributor, Robert Brazile LB, Brian Dawkins S, Jerry Kramer LB, Ray Lewis LB, Randy Moss WR, Terrell Owens WR, and Brian Urlacher.
The Hall of Fame game will be held on Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network with the Bears and the Ravens.
Urban Meyer is placed on paid administrative leave after rumblings that he knew about the domestic abuse that an assistant coach Zach Smith has against him.
While Meyer is on leave, OC Ryan Day is acting head coach.
Malkin is celebrating his 32nd birthday, and Crosby turns 31.
How long do we see them playing?
The Pirates were HOT HOT HOT but have cooled a bit. They're not yet cold.
Errors caused the 9-2 loss to the Cubs who newly acquired Cole Hammels who was on the hill.
Steelers Camp is underway.
The guys are working hard at St Vincents and putting in work.
AB, Villanuva left practice early with soreness but is expected to be fine.
Mike Hilton is feeling more comfy at camp and looking to make more of a impact at Corner.
The Steelers' first preseason game is in Pilly.

Matt and Steve are talking about this week in sports updates, including:
The Riverhounds tied Indy Eleven nil-nil and won 2-1 over Eire Commodores.
The Tampa Bay Rowdies come to Highmark Stadium.
With the win in the US Open Cup the Hounds get a home Cup game facing the winner of Cincy FC of the (USL) or Detroit City FC of the (NPSL).
In PGA Tour news, Web Simpson hits a -18 total and wins the 5th Major of The Players even shooting 1 over in the final round.
Tiger made a hell of a run in Day 3 and again in Day 4, but had early tee times both days.
Tiger Woods finished T11 but was as high as second.
We saw some super groups the first two-day pairings of Mickelson, Tiger, and Fowler, and the other of Spieth, Rory, and Justin Thomas.
It's the Bryon Nelson Classic at Trinity Forest in Dallas.
The next Big Tournament that's not a major is at Jack's Place in Muirfield Village Golf Club in Columbus.
PITT softball lost the ACC Championship Game against FSU in dramatic fashion.
The NHL Playoffs continue with the Caps up 2-1 over Tampa Bay in the series.
The Vegas And Winnipeg series is 2-1 Vegas.
Both have been very entertaining to watch.
On an intersting side note, Chris Kunitz could win his 5th cup and be the 50th Person with 5 Cups.
Mark Scheifele leads the playoffs with 14 goals (11 of them on the road).
As for NBA updates, Golden State is up 1-0 over the Rockets, and Boston is up 2-0 over the Cavs.
The Cavs got manhandled and headed back to Cleveland.
The Pitt/PSU game is scheduled for September 8th at 8PM.
It will be the last time the two will play in Hienz Field for the foreseeable future.
There is still one game at Happy Valley.
The Pirates took 2 of 3 from the Giants, ruining Cutch's homecoming.
They came back, taking two from the White Sox.
The Bullpen is still suspect.
The offense has hit a stride, but they have been playing struggling teams.
Do you think that ownership will go out and get some pieces at the trade deadline or after the all-star break if the Pirates are in a good position?
The boys are currently on pace to win 96 games, and are tied for first in the division, the second best record in the NL, 5th best in all of baseball, and 3rd best home record in the MLB.
The Pirates are behind the Yanks and Phills.
The Padres are in town this weekend and are 10 games under .500 as the Bucs are 8 games over.
Jay-Hay is working out and playing in Altoona with the Curve on Rehab.
Taillon jokes about peeing on his finger to help it heal quicker.

The show had a nice retweet this week thanks to Adam Schefter! Otherwise, we're looking at the playoff picture. The boys are still running with their fantasy football bookings, and Steve is taking a bit of a lead in Week 1. But, college football is also an important thing. The guys talk about the National Championship game and the state of college football as a whole. From there conversation shifts to some NCAA hoops action. Matt and Steve touch on some of the big names from the week, including some hometown updates from Pitt, Pitt Ladies, an Duquesne. This week's Penguins updates are better than they've been. For starters, it's back-to-back wins for the first time in over a month. Matt and Steve otherwise take a look at where the Penguins are in the big picture, and break out who their team leaders are before shifting to the NFL playoffs. The Steelers are taking on Jacksonville (or Jags-on-ville as they boys like to call them). They're giving some thoughts on keys to win. If you're looking to get tickets, Matt and Steve also do a quick breakdown of ticket prices.
