Matt and Steve are talking about this week in sports updates, including:
Riverhounds had a Nil-Nil tie with the Charleston Battery, but it looks like it wasn't that exciting of a match.
The Hounds are on the road to Louisville City.
They are currently tied for second in the group with Louisville with 25 points each.
Matt gives us some World Cup updates.
In PGA news from Connecticut at TPC River Highlands Bubba Watson had a hell of a third and fourth round to come out with the win.
Watson had -17 total shooting -7 on the final round.
The tour goes to TPC Potomac at Avenel in Potomac MD northwest of DC for the Quicken Loans National.
Tiger is on the green, but a lot of other big names are not. There's no DJ, Spieth, Kepca, Mickelson.
We're counting down to the Open.
Penguins sign Bryan Rust to a four-year deal, leaving them with $4.2 mill to spend in cap space.
It's likely that Oleksiak and Sheahan will get those nods.
The Pens also signed Sprong and Simone.
Crosby has reached out to Kunitz, and it looks like Kunitz and the Pens have shown mutual interest in another stint.
The Pens are looking to get him for less than $2 mill.
Kunitz will be 39 at the start of the season.
Le'veon Bell and the Steelers report that they are a lot closer than they were last season on making a deal.
Both side hope to come to an agreement before the July 16th deadline.
Every year the NFL posts a Top 100 list for the upcoming season. The top ten this year are: Brady, Brown, Went, Jones, Bell, Gurley, Donald, Brees, V.Miller, and Rodgers.
The Pirates are supposedly shopping Cervelli, Dickerson, Harrison, Mercer, and Freese.
Shopping around is an effort to cut payroll because of the drastic drop in attendance this season.
Neil Huntington has said that if the fans don't come out, that they can't afford to put a team on the field and the roster will be weakened because of the fans.
Huntington said that the team will add pieces at the deadline if the attendance picks up.
The team is worth $1.2 bill, and profited $86 mill between 2016 and 2017.
Nutting has petitioned the PA State Gaming Board for tax revenue stemming from the new sports booking that is expectied to open before the start of Football season.
The Bucs are 2-7 with another 4 straight losses to the Diamondbacks (who lead the NL West). that
They did win over the Mets in NYC, and went to extra innings at home in the series to take a loss in the 10th.

Matt and Steve are back this week with their fantasy football updates. Matt takes a big hit with a record of 0-4 for the week. But, before we get into football talk, let's start on a happier note! The Penguins are up 4 wins his week against the Islanders, Bruins, Red Wings, and Rangers. With training camp around the corner, the boys take a look at some big news in baseball this week - as the Pirates trade Cutch to the Giants. And, it looks like Cole is going to the Astros. Now that we've got you slumped a little into your chair, let's talk some football! The Steelers are out of the playoff picture - and there are a TON of thoughts about where things went wrong.

Now that the regular football season is over, Matt and Steve take a look back on their fantasy football season. But, before they head into their thoughts for the NFL post-season, they're taking a look at some NCAA hoops action. With Bowl games through the New Year holiday, the boys got to watch a lot of ball. They're recapping some of the highlights and their thoughts as we head into the National Championship game. As for the Penguins? They tacked up a win over the Flyers since the last episode, so there's a move in the right direction. From there, it's on to some Steelers talk! Because they can't help but mention Cleveland's record season, Matt and Steve have an interesting take on who they should be playing. From there it's more Harrison talk, and a look at the playoff picture - including playoff picks.

Matt and Steve start this week's episode as they do - with their fantasy football standings. They've been running neck-and-neck all season. This week they're tied up on their weekly picks with a 1-point difference on their season standings as they're headed into the fantasy championships! In other news, it's Christmastime! But, apparently not for the Penguins. The boys bring us up to speed on their recent losing streak. Thankfully it's a long season and we have some time to correct the early follies. As for NCAA news, we're into the basketball conference season! Matt and Steve share some thoughts on that - as well as the start of NCAA hockey season. We saved the best conversation for last as the boys dive into NFL news. At the top of the segment? James ****ing Harrison. There are certainly thoughts on his move to New England. As far as actual Steelers gameplay, the team showed a lot of promise on their Christmas Day outing with plays by Bryant, Bell and JuJu. Matt and Steve head out of their Steelers wrap up with an overview of their thoughts for the playoff picture.
As they do, the guys wrap up this week's show with some BOLD predictions about NFL - Week 17.

This week, the guys are talking about the status of their fantasy line-ups before heading into the nitty gritty sports talk. At the top of the show they're covering the Pirates - while they still can. With nine games left and declining attendance, the Pirates organization is turning to promotions for a final push to get fans out. Between seven straight losses and Cerveli out for the season due to injury, it's going to be hard. Add to that the Penguins' first pre-season game and fast-approaching home opener on October 4th, Pittsburgh sports fans are already prepping for winter sports action. We can't forget about football either. For the college football fans, Steve and Matt take a look at Pitt, PSU, WVU, and Notre Dame before heading into this week's Steelers talk.
The guys take the show home this week with some BOLD predictions about NFL - Week 3.
