Riverhounds have their first home playoff game at Highmark Stadium with the Bethlehem Steel.
The Riverhounds finished the season in third in Group A.
The PGA Tour is on their Asian swing, so the matches are live over night and replay during the day.
There are still some big names on the PGA Tour, but not many.
Penguins mark a win in Toronto with Murray in net.

71 had two goals, and Letang also came up with one.

Letang's goal marked the 100th of his career.
It's early, but the Penguins are 3-1-2 with 8 points - placing them a solid 4th in the division.
Boston/Astros was a great series, and the Sox head to the World Series.
David Price had his first career playoff win in 12 tries.
Alex Cora is the first Latino and first first-year manager to go to the World Series.
The Dodgers are up 3-2 as they head back to Miller Park.
In NCAA news, Pitt had a hell of a game with Notre Dame.
Pitt has a buy week and will host Duke when they return.
Notre Dame had a tough game with Pitt and is also in a buy week.
Notre Dame will play the Navy in San Diego.
PSU had a helluva loss to State as Indiana comes to Happy Valley.
WVU saw a bad loss Saturday and plays Baylor.
The NBA season started.
Steelers and Bengals was a back-and-forth game.
The TE got in the game Steelers/Bengals game.
Ben hit 10 different receivers.
The defense didn't look as good as they did over the Falcons but they weren't horrible.
Bell should be back Monday/Tuesday.

The Riverhounds have their last home regular season game with FC Cincinnati.
The Riverhounds will finish in the top 4 in their group.
With their season finish, the Riverhounds have earned a home playoff game.
Will the Riverhounds finish third, or will they move into second for the playoffs.
The Ryder Cup was pretty much one-sided after the day 2 morning session.
Europe rolled to a 17.5-10.5 victory over all.
Europe entered the final day, which was all singles matches, up 10-6.

We had 2 playoff games for the MLB division for the first time ever.
First off, the Cubs/Brewers was exciting.
The Cubs/Rockies was crazy.
There were lots of chances that the Cubs just didn't capitalize on.
The A’s/Yankees was closer than it looked.
For the NL it looks like Braves/Dodgers, Brewers/Rockies.
AL will be Cleveland/Houston and Yankees/Sox.

Scott Hartnell retires.
The Capitols had a big win!!
Penguins season is officially started!
Pitt took a hell of a loss to UCF.
Pitt comes back home to take on Syracuse.
Syracuse saw a recent loss to Clemson.
Kansas is headed into Morgantown to take on WVU.
PSU is coming off a big loss to OSU which will screw the rest of their season.
PSU is headed to Lansing to take on Michigan State.
Notre Dame had a helluva game and a real good win over Stanford.
The Irish are headed to Blacksburg to take on Virginia Tech.

• Jerald Hawkins, the back-up OT, was carried off the field with a ruptured quad. Third pick, Oakafore, is now up for the position.

• Most of the stars of the team (the “Skilled Position Players”) were absent for the second week of OTA’s, but that was no shocker.

• The Pirates lost 2 of 3 to the Reds, 2 of 3 to the Cards, and 2 of 3 to the Cubs with some drama on the base pads in the Cubs series.
• The Buccos are still above 500 by 2 games and 6.5 back in the division.
• The offense was solid, Polanco had a 3-hit night.

• The Vegas Golden Knights move on to the Stanley Cup Final over the Winnipeg Jets.
• The Caps/Lightning had a very exciting game 7 with the Caps moving on to the final.

• Football OTAs have begun and the vets are meeting the rookies and invited free agents for the first time.
• There is no sign of Lev Bell, and we don't expect him 'til after camp.

The Penguins had a hot week with Phil Kessel's two overtime winning goals coming in at 299 and 300 respectively for his record. It was otherwise Murray's first bad showing.

The MLB World Series game was a wild one. It's the homeruns ever in the playoffs! But, it's all about the pitching and the long ball for Matt and Steve.

College football is going strong. Pitt has an ACC win over Virginia, but was their defense on point for the game? The guys otherwise pay homage to Henderson's punt return touchdown and the passing touchdown by DiNucci. Penn State started off great with Barkley taking the opening kickoff 97 yeards, but then squanders a 15-point lead in the 4th. They drop to #7. Notre Dame was otherwise a total ground game with lots of penalties. They've moved up to the #5 spot, though.

The Steelers are at a 20-15 win-loss record. Juju had 195 yards and one touchdown, but Brown was held in check for the game. Matt and Steve share some additional thoughts as the Steelers head into their buy week.

So, how about that Penguins win in OT with Kessel career goal #299 in OT? The Penguins are making some moves with Casey DeSmith coming up as Murray's backup. In other news, Neimi gets picked up by Florida and the Pens get Sheahan for Wilson in a 5th round.

We can still talk some baseball this week, too with the World Series. Verlander was stud in the ALCS, and the Dodgers get over the hump.

This week's college football round-up has Pitt winning at Duke. DiNucci is 8/18 with 154 yards in the air. Overall, they're looking good. The Virginia Cavaliers come to Heinz Field this week. Turning gears to Penn State, they crushed Michigan this week. Sequan Barkley is still a Heisman hopeful with 108 yards, 2TDs, and 53 yards in the air. McSorley has 282 passing and a TD in the air with 76 on the gournd and 3TDs. They're at OSU this week. Notre Dame lights up USC, and North Carolina State is in South Bend.

Which brings us to Steelers news! Ben is 14/24 with 224 yards and 2TDs. Bell has 35 carries for 134 yards, and Brown and Smith-Schuster with the TD and the Wizard of Boz with 5 field goals. This week, Steve and Matt are talking the usual gamut of Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. They do a recap of last week's predictions and how they each fared. Then it's on to some fantasy football recap. Apparently there is such a thing as poor coaching in fantasy football these days. From there it's on to some MLB news, including an early start to next year's season, and the Espy Awards and the All-Star Game. The guys may be blaming the Pirates' 6 losses since last week on Polanco's jenky leg. It's either that or traded Nicasio's "hold my beer" moment when he faced the Pirates as a St. Louis player. Speaking of trades, the guys wrap up their baseball segment with some McCutcheon trade options and expendable players. From there Matt and Steve talk some Pitt v Penn State game before heading into news about the Penguins. With training camp starting this week, Pittsburgh is favored to win the Stanley Cup again this year - which lands the guys into a fantasy discussion about what they would do if they had a day with the Stanley Cup. Oh, we haven't talked about football yet! The Steelers v Browns game was more worrisome than it should have been. Let's talk about Le'Veon Bell and stupid penalties. But, kudos to TJ Watt for making Defensive Rookie of the Week. Big Ben wins an interesting record this week too, as the winningest QB in Cleveland! But, we can't dismiss Tom Brady. No matter how much you may hate New England, Tom Brady is a damn good QB.
